Darren McPartland – College Principal
I am proud to be the Principal of St Peter’s, particularly at this time of growth and improvement. Coming over from Western Australia at the end of 2017, to one of the most beautiful parts of Australia, has been a great decision for my family. I am also a parent in the St Peter’s community as my two children attend the College.
I am often asked to describe the essence of St Peter’s. First and most importantly is the positive learning culture of the school. Most noteworthy are the authentic learning experiences and quality of teaching by our professional and dedicated staff. Their experience and enthusiasm ensures the provision of a stimulating, student centred and future oriented education.
St Peter’s has a very good academic reputation and record, a broad sporting program and a huge number of offerings in our co-curricular program. Vocational subjects are given equal standing with HSC subjects and in 2020 we will commence building our large trade centre.
When new students join St Peter’s they often comment about the quiet, calm and purposeful atmosphere of the classrooms. The creation of the positive St Peter’s atmosphere and culture is also due to the wonderful open and spacious campus that we have.
Our families come from all over the Eurobodalla, from East Lynne in the North and down to Bermagui in the South.
The best way to get a feel for the College is to come and have a look around. I would be happy to have a chat and show you why St Peter’s would be a great choice and investment for your child(ren).
